Performance Evidence
Evidence is required to be collected that demonstrates a candidate’s competency in this unit. Evidence must be relevant to the roles within this sector’s work operations and satisfy all of the requirements of the performance criteria of this unit and include evidence that the candidate:
locates and applies relevant legislation, documentation, policies and proceduresimplements the requirements, procedures and techniques for the safe, effective and efficient management of drilling induction and orientation including:identifying, addressing and reporting potential hazards and riskscontrolling identified hazards identifying, addressing and reporting environmental issuespreparing written records and reports works effectively with others to undertake and complete drilling induction and orientation to meet all required outcomes including:communicating clearly and concisely with others to receive, give and clarify work instructionspreparing for and organising work activities to meet all task requirementsestablishing and maintaining coordination with others relating to the work activity complying with written and verbal reporting requirementsdemonstrates completion of the management of drilling induction and orientation that safely, effectively and efficiently meets all of the required outcomes on more than one (1) occasion including:identifying, examining and explaining general safety practicesidentifying, confirming and clarifying all first aid/emergency response arrangementsidentifying, explaining and discussing rig working and living conditions including work rosters and camp rules
